Our journey begins.....



 Our journey begins about 2 months ago, on a cold August day, when Juli located a screaming deal on a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise with Cunard Line.  Cunard is considered to be one of the premier cruise lines in the world, with a grand cruising experience hearkening back to an era of formal travel and opulent surroundings. 

This is the Queen Victoria, sister ship to the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth 2.  We will post more on her later.

This is our cruise route - departing from Rome and returning 12 days later.
We are visiting Sicily, Egypt, Cyprus, Rhodes, Turkey, Greece, Naples.

Before boarding the ship, we are spending a week in Rome.
