Today art in the park, tomorrow trip to the ship

Finally a sunny day, and we viewed a most amazing art collection in the Galleria Borghese part of the fantastic Villa Borghese.  A previously private 1700 acre section of land owned by a very serious art collecting Carninal, is now a park.

Truly an outstanding collection - check out this link for more details:
Borghese Galleria

This is a picture of one of the ponds we found - can you find the marble?
Also in the park were a few musicians, but this fellow playing classical guitar was perfect in the venue - his music carried throughout this section of the park making it easy to understand why some folks are so inspired to create art in this country.

Tomorrow we make our way to the port to board the Queen Victoria for our cruise.  We are sad to leave Rome, as we finally had a day where we did not get lost.  We will try very hard to keep up the blog once we get onto the ship, so we cantake you all with us.

Ciao!
